Live the nomad Berber dream by riding a camel in the middle of the big dunes of Erg Chigaga. Camel treks start from the camp.
Enjoy sandboarding while you are in the iconic Erg Chigaga. Climbing the dunes maybe physically demending, but the descent is a real joy.
ATV is for mechanic sport lovers. Imagine you are driving your ATV in an ocean of dunes. There is no limit to what you can do. This activity needs to be booked in advance. It comes with extra fees.
A few hours after the sunset, the sky of Erg Chigaga dunes reveals all its amazing stars. In the absence of any light pollution, you will see the most starry sky ever. We provide no equipment for this activity.
Each luxury camping night comes with a candlelight romantic dinner if the weather allows it. Your delicious dinner served at the dunes surrounded by candles, is a real mooment of connection with your loved ones.
Each night at the camp, right after dinner, you can join our Berber team to sing and dance around the fire. A night drum party under the stars, will allow you discover a part of the Berber culture.
Luxury Berber Camp has an outdoors lounge area with a fireplace where you can relax.
A fireplace is set up exactly in the middle of the lounge area. It's here where our night drum parties each night takes place.
For those looking for privacy, a lounge tent is set up a dune away from the main camp. It's ideal for romantic couples and honeymooners.
When the weather doesn't allow an outdoor candlelight dinner, your dinner will be server inside our restaurant (big tent).
A games area is set up in the outdoors lounge and inside the restaurant. You can play chess, petanque, cards and so on.
Our luxuy Berber desert camp is perfectly located in the middle of the dunes. There is no other camp close to ours. You will fully enjoy the exclusivity and tranquility of the dunes.
A very high quality confortable king size bed. We can adapt it to twin or triple beds if you wish.
High quality sheets, pillows and blankets are provided with your private tent. We change them with clean ones everyday.
Each luxury tent has its own in-suite toilets and hot water shower. We offer high quality showering products. A high quality bathrobe is also offer to each guest.
Beside the bed, there is a vanity area with a mirror for the ladies to put all their beauty products
Right near the door of your tent, there is a lounge area where you can sit and enjoy the sky and the dunes in the evening. It can be used to just relax or for reading your favorite book.
Inside your luxury tent, there a place a Berber carpet and pooffes if you want to sit low and enjoy your tea the nomadic Berber way.
Great experience! The night we spent in the desert was one of my favourite life travel experiences. The Erg Chigaga camp and team are just fantastic. We were treated like old friends even though we juat stayed one night. Spending the night there sleeping under the stars was mindblowing. We didn't see a single other tourist so felt like we were right out in it. Booking was very easy with great communications, even though we only booked the day before. Our driver Mahjoub was fantastic - safe, pleasant company and a knowledgable guide. Great cars. Would not hesitate in recommending this company. Thank you for everything!

I had some free time before I started another big project with work and decided to check off a bucket list trip. In less than 2 weeks, Moho put together a luxury itinerary (for just me, solo) and I was in Marrakech. Everything was seamless. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the Top Desert Team has been this past week. Moha did an amazing job planning everything. It was smooth sailing.
Faissal was my fabulous driver to Erg Chigaga. The drive included sun, wind, rain and snow at some point along the trip. Felt perfectly safe the entire time. Loved chatting along the way, very knowledgable and entertaining. Sherry Berry, my camel gave a fun ride to see the sunset over the dunes. It was so beautiful. The guys/staff were great. Good food and a birthday cake! Thank you so much, They even sang me happy birthday in a couple of languages including drum. There was wind storm overnight that redecorated the property. The tents are not heated, down comforters helped. I'd like to suggest flannel sheets for the winter. My trip was to and from Marrakech, long but fun drive. Faissal had planned breaks along the way that made everything easier.
El Glaoui Kasbah or Kasbah Du Pacha El Glaoui or Telouet Kasbah, is located in the former route of caravans coming from Sahara desert and going to Marrakech via Atlas Mountains. Built in 1860, this was the home of El Glaoui family.
Ait Benhaddou Kasbah (fortified village) is also one of the most important steps in trans-Saharan trading routes back then. Built in the 11th century during the Almoravid period. The Kasbah has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1987. A lot of movies were turned there: The Mummy, Gladiator, Lawrence Of Arabia, Prince Of Persia, Alexander, Queen Of The Desert, Game Of Thrones...
Ouarzazate has been know as Holywood of Morocco. Due to it's desert landscapes and location near major historic sites like Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. It's been the first choice for almost any historic movie.
